The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a full-time, hands-on Accounting Manager to perform general ledger financial statement preparation. This role also interacts with the A/P and A/R resources. This position reports directly to the CFO and is a great mid-career position with room for growth.

Position Responsibilities
  • Month-end close entries in coordination with A/P and A/R
  • Monthly reporting preparation for each Company as well as the consolidated report
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Sales & Use tax returns preparation and filling in multiple states
  • Weekly payroll entries (ADP Workforce Now experience would be a plus)
  • Commissions statement preparation for relevant employees
  • Intercompany entries preparation and booking between the organization's 4 companies
  • Fixed assets entries and schedules per company
  • Oversee projects assigned
Position Requirements
  • BS/BA in Accounting (Accounting Degree Required)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Team player
  • Self-starter
  • Independent
  • 5+ years of experience In accounting experience
  • Understanding of ERP and Accounting Systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Eager to learn and challenge/refine existing processes
